Home & workplace consulting · East Bay, California

Not a list to work through. A decision made — in your rooms, with your things.

I come to you, look at what you actually own, and tell you what's fine, what's worth replacing, and what to skip entirely — with the reasoning attached. The researching stops. You get your evening back.

For homes

A healthier home, without hours of research.

I'll go through your home — or your registry, if you're expecting — and tell you what's worth changing, what isn't, and what to leave exactly as it is. One visit, one answer, done — and your money goes where it matters.

For businesses

A work environment that boosts performance.

Your team spends most of the day indoors — and air quality, ventilation, and chemical exposure directly affect how people feel and perform. Healthier workplaces mean better performance, retention, and satisfaction.

Three ways to hand the legwork over.

No. 01

Registry Review

Expecting & new parents

The registry is the most decisions you'll ever make at once, on a deadline, about products you've never bought before. I'll go through yours line by line — what's worth it, what isn't, what to skip entirely. One hour, one answer, done.

No. 02

Home Audit

Families & households

Room by room, with your things — kitchen, cleaning, kids' items, air, water, textiles. You get a short list of what I'd change now, what to replace only when it wears out, and an honest "keep what you have" where the evidence doesn't support spending.

No. 03

Workplace Audit

Offices, studios & facilities

Cleaning systems, indoor air and ventilation, fragrance load, water, and everyday supplies — assessed on site, with specific product recommendations included. A healthier environment your team can feel, and one that pays off in productivity, retention, and satisfaction.

Due diligence should belong to companies and regulators. But somewhere along the way it was quietly handed to you — unpaid, untrained, one purchase at a time.

Researching every purchase like a private detective was never supposed to be your job. I spent more than a decade inside the industry that made it yours. Let me hand it back.

Hi, I'm Alexia.

Alexia Niparko
Alexia Niparko · Founder

I spent more than a decade inside the consumer-products industry — building grocery storefronts, launching my own organic food company, and working behind the scenes at one of the country's biggest household-goods companies. I learned that making a better product is rarely simple — and what a label says doesn't always tell the whole story.

Then I had kids. Even with all that experience, I was spending hours researching the products we brought into our home.

So I made the research my job — so it doesn't have to be yours. Through Little Green Spaces, I do that work in person: in your home, on your registry, or across your workplace. Every recommendation starts with the data — third-party certifications, ingredient databases, published research — and ends with a human judgment call: mine. Not sponsored, not auto-generated. And if what you already own is perfectly fine, I'll tell you that too.

You'll also find my researched picks at Little Green List, and my weekly note at Little Green Steps.

No alarm, no overhaul — and an honest note when nothing needs replacing.

Little Green List is the shelf behind this work — lower-tox picks, without the legwork. Not a database, not everything: a short list of what I'd buy, with the reasoning attached, and an honest answer when what you own is already fine.
